So, it's official! The papers have been signed and processed, we got the keys, I changed the locks myself, and we've started preparing the place for the move. My parents went on an Alaskan cruise, and took our jointly-owned camera with them, so you'll just have to live with the pictures we already have for now.
First, we'll go upstairs...
The first two pictures show the living room. Then we have the dining room, as viewed from the living room (the TV stand on the wall will be going away). Next is the kitchen, viewed from the dining room. Then beyond the dining room is the family/entertainment room, which features an interesting innovation: an indoor window. (You see, that wall was once the back of the house. When they extended the house and added this room, they kept the outside window. Mike has since taken it out, and it will just be an opening from the kitchen.)
Down the hall...
Going down the hall, the first stop on the right is the middle/guest bathroom. Next, on the left, we have the office (and if we ever have a baby boy, this will be his room). The next door on the left is the art studio (potential girl's room), which also features a wallpaper mural that Jenn loves. Across the hall is the master bedroom, and from there, the master bathroom.
Downstairs...
The first is the deceiving look at the downstairs... The second is the more accurate view. The third picture shows the reverse angle. However, there is a massive storage room, which is also the washroom. Then as we go down the "hall" we see more of the unfinished basement (sorry it's blurry). And to the right we have the diagonal bathroom with a corner toilet. (That's right, folks! You can go in the corner and it won't be frowned upon... Wait a minute! Pull your pants back up - I meant only in this bathroom.) The last picture is from one of the unfinished bedrooms and looking into the other two. And while it may look like a disaster, a lot of the hard work has been done, and it won't be too difficult to finish the basement.
So that's the house. We hope to give everyone a real tour soon enough.
P.S. Take a look at some of the links we've added in the Related Blogs & Links column.

This is so major awesome!!!!! It's all so cool. I can't wait to see it for real. Like Jenn, I love the mural too. I really can't find the words to express how happy I am for you two. It will be fun to see what you do with it as time goes by. Not that it needs a lot, I just know you will putter and make it yours. Very cool indeed!!!!
It looks awesome! Congrats!
Ummm, I know this is completely unrelated, but I am going through withdrawals. Sure seems like a long time since a J.A. Toon! I know you're busy. Just remember; some of your fans are REALLY looking forward to the next one.
We know. We're planning a full-scale J.A. Toons revival. Just be patient. :)
Ok, I'll try. :)
