Last night we went to Sara & Mike's for a New Year's Eve bash. We ate, played games, and watched the Travel Channel... Yes, the Travel Channel. They were showing a Disney marathon with stuff about Disney Cruises, Walt Disney World, Disneyland, etc. And, as you all know, my family loves Disney.
We were also watching it because there was a live stream where people could text a message and it would scroll along the bottom. We were reading and laughing at a lot of other people's New Year's Eve messages. Then a few of us decided to text our own. We didn't watch long enough to see if mine or Jeremy's texts made it, however, the entire nation (who were also silly enough to be watching the Travel Channel on New Year's Eve) got to see Jenn's text to me that said, "Adam - Here's to another wonderful year! ~ Jenn". It was very sweet, and cool that it was on national television.
After the games, everyone got tired and left before midnight. Jenn and I went home and did our usual New Year's Eve tradition (we've done it two years in a row, so it counts as a tradition), which is: watching The Simpsons while writing New Year's letters, because we used to write letters to each other everyday while we were dating. Then, at midnight, we kissed as the fireworks went off. It was a great way to start the new year.
We wish all of you the best for this year and beyond. Happy New Year!
